Noodle Envy

We have been paying a great deal of attention to the road shoulders lately.  (We hope that you dear readers will, too, as you traverse the highways of this country).  Meanwhile, Pete has been hoping people are paying attention to his noodle.

Pete likes his noodle.  He has decided that displaying it openly makes people pay attention to him while riding on the road.  He was unhappy with the narrow shoulders that we have encountered.  Pete noticed that people notice him on the side of the road, when his noodle is sticking out.  Lots of people apparently have noodle envy.  Just the other day a rather
macho guy in Dubois, Wyoming wanted to know all about Pete's noodle, and how it worked.  Pete, being a medical doctor, had no problem with the explanation.  He proudly showed off his noodle.

Others have had noodle envy as well.  Stephanie regularly talks about Pete's noodle and got one for herself.  The big surprise was when Sue Sister got a noodle, although her's is no where near as long as Pete's!

Some of us never had Noodle Envy.  Lisa chosean alternative method of safety.

Sue B apparently thinks she can out smart the car and semi drivers by pedaling at the speed of light.

And Lauran wears the brightest jerseys possible, so any passersby could not help but notice her!

Here she is proudly sporting her colorful "See Me" jersey

No one is quite sure whether Lesli has a noodle or not.

If you are reading this, please remember to pay attention to cyclists in the shoulder.  Respect the noodles and give them a wide berth!
